Professor Santosh Kapuria, Professor, Department of Applied Mechanics has been selected Fellow of Indian Academy of Engineering (INAE)

Professor Santosh Kapuria
Professor Santosh Kapuria has been awarded the Fulbright Senior Research Fellowship for Year 2009-2010. It is for eight months for research at Stanford University. Out of 12 such awardees across the country in this year, Prof. Kapuria is the only one from the core Engineering disciplines.

Dr. Anushree Malik, Assistant Professor, Centre for Rural Development and Technology, has been selected as the ‘Editorial Board Member’ of ‘The Open Microbiology Journal’ published by Bentham Open, USA. So far she is the only member from India.

Prof. J. Nanda
Prof. J. Nanda , FNA , FNAE , FTWAS , FIEEE , INSA Scientist in the department of Electrical Engineering at I.I.T Delhi was recently felicited with Prof.S.N. Mitra memorial Award of the Indian National Academy of Engineering for his outstanding contributions to power system analysis , dynamics , control and optimization aspects .The award was given in the annual general meeting of the Academy in Goa on 5th Dec.2008 .The award consists of a Citation and a cash of 2 lakh rupees

Prof. J. Nanda
Professor J. Nanda FNA, FNAE, FTWAS (Italy), FIEEE (USA) of The Department of Electrical Engineering has become a member of National Board of Accreditation since July 2008. He has also become The Chairman of Engineering Accreditation committee to accredit UG and PG programmes of all engineering colleges in the country.
